MEDICARE (CDBS)
The Commonwealth Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) provides assistance for basic dental treatment over a two-year period for eligible 2-17 year olds.
ELIGIBILITY:Â
- Children are eligible if they recieve Family Tax Benefit A or other relevant australian Government paymentÂ
- There is no waiting list at our clinic — eligible children can book the next available appointment.
WHAT DENTAL TREATMENTS ARE AVAILABLE?
- Dental check-ups and teeth cleans
- Fissure sealants and Fillings
- Dental X-rays
- Extractions
- Root canals

PAYMENT INFORMATION
At Monbulk & Emerald Family Dental Care, CDBS patients are required to pay for their appointment upfront. You can then claim the eligible benefit back from Medicare. Our friendly reception team can provide you with the necessary information to assist with your Medicare claim.
